In honor of Peggy Lee’s La Vie en Rose release, I wanted to take her somewhere she always longed to visit. After learning that Peggy dreamed of seeing Paris but somehow never had the chance, I found myself imagining her there while listening to her beautiful recording of La Vie en Rose. This painting is my way of giving her that trip at last.
